Jesus ist würdig!

Wie oft schaue ich auf mich selbst,auf meine Fehler, mein Versagen.Dann fühle ich mich unwürdig. Unwürdig zu glauben, dass Gott mich liebt und mein Vater ist. Unwürdig auch, das anzunehmen, was Jesus für mich getan hat. Unwürdig, Gottes Verheißungen für mich persönlich in Anspruch zu nehmen!

Aber: Jesus ist würdig! Deshalb darf ich glauben! Auf Ihn muss ich sehn! Jesus ist würdig! Deshalb darf ich seine Verheißungen persönlich in Anspruch nehmen. Trotz allem Versagen! Ich schaue auf Jesus, denn ER ist würdig!

Honda

Das ist sie also, meine Honda.
Ich hab sie mal vorläufig Doron genannt, das bedeutet: Geschenk, Gabe (hebr./altgr.))
Denn ich sehe sie als Geschenk von Gott an, der mir geholfen hat,
meinen Moppedführerschein zu bestehen.
Natürlich hat da auch gaaanz viel mein Fahrlehrer zu beigetragen (Danke Peter!),
aber ohne Jesus hätte rein gar nix geklappt, denn an einigen Tagen war ich körperlich
hart an der Grenze...

Nun ja- das war im März/ April- und dann wurde es natürlich Zeit, sich auf die Suche zu
machen nach einer geeigneten Maschine.
Gesagt getan:
ich wie doof Zeitschriften geblättert, Internet durchsucht und gebetet bis mir der Kopf
schwirrte, musste ja unbedingt schnell gehen, weil ich ja fahren wollte und SHT machen wollte und und und

Aber bei Gott mahlen die Mühlen manchmal etwas langsamer und das ist gut so!
Ich hatte ihm nämlich einige Kriterien genannt, die zutreffen sollten:
Händler in erreichbarer Nähe, sprich: nicht unbedingt 100 km weit weg.
Dann sollte die EZ nicht älter sein als 2003, möglichst wenige KM weg haben, hübsche Farbe und
ich muss mit beiden Beinen sicheren Stand haben und das Ganze musste natürlich auch finanzierbar
sein...ach ja und nackt sollte sie auch sein ;)
Puh! Das sind ja gleich mehr als drei Wünsche auf einmal...das gibt's nu wirklich nicht...oder doch?!
Wie lange suchen?

Bis ich dann erstmal den Druck rausgenommen habe, bis Juni meine Maschine haben zu müssen...
...und siehe da, auf einmal legt Gott mir ein wirkliches Prachtexemplar vor die Füße, beim Händler
nur zwei Städtchen weiter (Motorrad Brune, Lüdenscheid).

Und das ist sie:

Noch was zum Namen...

Es musste ein O drin vorkommen,

denn O's sind bei mir blau :)

(A's sind rot, I's sind gelb, E's sind grau

und U's sind hellblau oder cremeweiß)

und irgendwie wollte ich mein Bike "Diego"

nennen, aber ich glaube, das führt zu einigen

irreführenden Assoziationen....

(ich sag nur: Maradona...), also heißt es halt erstmal

"Doron" (m/w), aber vll. fällt mir ja noch was Schöneres ein- obwohl, was Schöneres als ein

Geschenk von Gott kann es eigentlich nicht geben, oder!?

Und Gott JHWH/ Jesus Christus hat soviele schöne Geschenke für uns.

Nicht unbedingt materieller Art, das kann auch mal so sein, eher existenzieller Art,

also noch viel bedeutender und wichtiger.

Denn Er, Gott selber, möchte eine Beziehung zu uns Menschlein haben, die besser ist als die

beste Freundschaft. Er möchte mit uns reden, uns begleiten und im Leben anleiten, möchte uns

Werte mitgeben, an denen wir uns orientieren dürfen, die besser sind als das, was sich ein Mensch ausdenken kann und möchte uns nicht nur ein Leben im Hier-und-Jetzt ermöglichen, sondern darüber hinaus einmal in der Ewigkeit.

Denn nach dem Tod ist noch längst nicht alles aus, denn sonst müsste jeder Mensch

von sich sagen, er sei nur ein Produkt des Zufalls- und wer würde das wohl tun ?

Denn wir sind ziemlich ausgefeilte, interessant gemachte, kunstvoll gestaltete Menschen.

Selbst mein Mopped ist kein Produkt des Zufalls...wieso dann ausgerechnet wir?!

Zugegeben, das geht manchmal völlig gegen unsere Denkweise, denn Gott denkt anders wie wir- wäre ja auch schlimm, wenn nicht- aber wenn man sich einmal auf Gottes Denkweise einlässt, wird man positiv überrascht sein :)

Ich weiß, das st manchmal schwer zu glauben, aber ich mache dir einen Vorschlag, aber Vorsicht, er könnte dein Leben

auf den Kopf stellen:

Fang an mit Jesus zu reden! Ich weiß, du kannst ihn nicht sehen- egal. Red' einfach "ins Blaue hinein"

und frag' ihn nach seinem Lebenskonzept, nach seinen Gedanken und ob sie wirklich besser sind als

alles, was du bisher kennengelernt hast. Sag ihm einfach, was dir auf dem Herzen liegt, was dich quält

oder freut...

...und dann bitte ihn, dir zu antworten!

Wenn du es wirklich ernst meinst, dann wird er es tun!
Mach das mal einen Monat lang und halte nach Antwort Ausschau. 

Vielleicht hörst du ihn in deinen Gedanken oder vielleicht ändert sich irgendwas in deinem Leben...

Aber hab ein wenig Geduld...manchmal dauert es ein paar Tage, denn vielleicht musst du

erst sensibel dafür werden! Jesus segne dich!

Welcome to the new year

A new year has begun, another year is over.
And so I hope that you will find some time to think
about it.
What was good, what was bad?
Where did you meet God the last year?

I really liked the church service yesterday evening,
where we heard about Psalm 103.
Everybody could light a candle to thank God for something
concerning the last year and everybody could put a stone
into "God's hands" which should symbolize our sorrows or grief.
God knows about that and he will care.

But now, welcome to 2010!
I don't know your expectations, maybe you haven't any,
but I really have a lot!
Especially concerning my spiritual life.
I want to meet Jesus, not even in my church, but "on the street".
I want to find a way to find HIS heart and to understand on which
ways HE meets my heart best.
I want to meet people. I want to overcome my addictions.
I want to be free to love-to give and to receive!
I want to find ways to deal better with my emotions.

Maybe these expectations are too many for one year.
It won't be long and 2010 will be over as well....
time is running fast, but I hope that Jesus will be on my side
and that He will lead me and that He will show me much of His beauty.
I'm hoping for intimacy and adventure.

...and I want do get my driver's license for motorcycles!!!
I'm really excited and I'm really looking foreward to it :)

Beautiful America

This year we spent our vacations in Canada and in the USA and

we really enjoyed it.

In recent years we often travelled with christian groups, but this time

we were on our own.

Maybe it wouldn't be easy to drive 6000 km, searching the hotels, talking English (uli)

all the time ...

but we knew God on our side.

He gave us words to trust in HIM, before we started and on the trip.

Most of them had to do with Jesus/ the LORD as a rock.

In Canada are many rocks- the Rocky Mountains of course. When we saw them,

we could always remember Jesus.

Even when our car was damaged by little stones, we trusted Jesus to help us and he did.

The one time we got a new car and the other time the car window didn't break through until the end of our trip.

Jesus showed us the beauty of his nature and we really enjoyed it.

For two weeks we did a round trip starting in Calgary driving down to the Waterton National Park, crossing the border, driving through Montana to Wyoming where we visited the Yellowstone National Park, driving back north to the Glacier National Park and on to Banff.

Then we went to B.C. where we stayed on the Red Willow Guest Ranch for 5 days.

All in all a great vacation.

Thank you Jesus for guiding us, for encouraging and protecting us!

Long live the king

Der Titel von meinem Blog ist zurückzuführen auf ein Lied der schwedischen Formation
"Narnia". Die christliche Metalband, deren Name auf die Narnia-Chroniken von C.S.Lewis zurückgeht, wurde 1996 von "Modest Attraction"-Sänger Christian Liljegren (Rivel) und
Carl Johann Grimmark, Ex-Gitarrist von "Sentinel", gegründet.
Ihr Stil ist Melodic-Metal. 2008 gab Liljegren seinen Ausstieg bekannt, er singt aber zusätzlich für die christliche Power-Metal Band "Divinefire". Neuer Sänger von Narnia ist German Pascual,
ein Brasilianer.
Im April 2008 durfte ich Narnia live bei den "Legends of Rock" in Ennepetal erleben und ich fand sie supergut. Christian Liljegren hat es verstanden, sein Publikum mitzureißen.
Das Lied "Long live the King" handelt natürlich von Jesus Christus, dem größten König der Geschichte. Für IHN soll dieser Blog sein, dem Gottessohn, dem wahren Hohepriester, Messias- ja Gott selbst! Lang lebe der König-Long live the king!
